Ⅰ.Product introduction
The FMI series flow-type valve position indicator is a modular assembly featuring a mounting surface compliant with ISO 4401-03-02-0-02/DIN 24340 standards and incorporating a plate solenoid directional valve interface with a 6mm port size. This module consists of a hydraulic manifold valve block, a gear-type volumetric flow meter, and an instrument indicator device. Installed on a mounting plate and operated by a solenoid directional valve for switching, the flow-type valve position indicator serves as a valve position indicator device controlling hydraulic valves in ballast tanks, cargo tanks, and forepeak tank systems on various vessels. The valve position indicator is suitable for installation in deck boxes such as solenoid valve cabinets. Valve open-position indication can be viewed locally through visual indicator or transmitted remotely via signals from a potentiometer or limit switch.

Ⅶ. Remarks
1. The hydraulic oil flow into FMI valve position indicator should not be too fast (FMI-04N type should be less than 6L/min.,FMI-08N and FMI-10N type should be less than 7L/min.), or it will affect the indicator accuracy of FMI valve position indicator. The working flow of hydraulic oil can be adjusted by adjusting the speed regulating valve on the hydraulic valve block.
2. Normal hydraulic oil is suitable for this valve position indicator, the normal oil temperature should be controlled in -20 ℃ ~ + 80 ℃.
3.On the FMI valve position indicator using the tubular connection valve block, the direction of the pressure oil enters from the IN port and exits from the OUT port, and cannot be connected IN the opposite direction. In addition, port T must be connected to the tank and submerged below the liquid level.
